Passage of School Choice Bill Historic and Good for North Dakota

Today, the North Dakota Legislative Assembly gave final passage to House Bill 1532, the school choice reimbursement bill. For the first time in the state’s history, the legislature has approved providing assistance to parents who choose a nonpublic school.
The North Dakota Catholic Conference is grateful to all the legislators, parents, voters, school officials, and others who helped make this historical vote possible.
House Bill 1532 invests in children, empowers parents, and strengthens education for all North Dakotans. For these reasons, we call on Governor Doug Burgum to sign House Bill 1532 into law.
